For designers
A considered finish, from sample to surface.
We collaborate with interior designers and project teams to refine finish direction, review substrate requirements and document agreed details. Share your drawings, references and schedule to start the conversation.
What we bring to a project
Predictable, documented, on schedule.
Finish direction
We help narrow the options with you: which finish suits the room, the light and how the space is used.
Substrate review
We check what each surface needs before it is finished, and flag what the builder should prepare.
Custom samples
Made in the agreed color, texture and sheen once the estimate is approved, for sign-off by you and your client.
Written details
Scope, finish system, sheen, edges and transitions, documented so everyone builds to the same page.
Schedule coordination
We fit our days into the project sequence, with curing times stated up front.
Care notes for your client
A short guide to the finish applied, written for the people who will live with it.
Substrate requirements
What each finish needs underneath
| Finish | Substrate |
|---|---|
| Venetian plaster | Sound, flat drywall or plaster, joints taped and filled; level 5 is ideal for polished. |
| Roman clay | Sound drywall or plaster; painted walls accepted after an adhesion check. |
| Limewash | Porous mineral surfaces such as stucco, brick and plaster; painted walls need a mineral primer. |
| Microcement | Stable, dry substrate; well-bonded tile accepted; waterproofing required in showers. |
General guidance. Requirements depend on the specific system, which we confirm in writing for each project.
